Danica Salajko - Founder of Bathing Belle Swimwear

Danica Salajko is the owner, founder, and designer of Bathing Belle Swimwear. She grew up in a family business that specialized in custom swimwear, sparking her lifelong passion for design.

After graduating from George Brown College's Fashion Design program, Danica worked as a wardrobe stylist for film and television before moving on to work behind the scenes in the photography world. These experiences helped shape her vision and approach to building her own business. In 2018, she opened her first brick-and-mortar store in Toronto's Roncesvalles Village.

At Bathing Belle, every swimsuit is a labour of love. When Danica creates her custom pieces,she's not just crafting swimwear. She’s crafting confidence. For her, there is nothing quite like seeing her customers light up when they try on a swimsuit that fits them perfectly. That's what drives her every day - creating pieces that make people feel absolutely incredible, exactly as they are.

Jennifer Fennell - Bathing Belle Swimwear Designer and Creative Consultant

Jennifer Fennell is a master of detail and a trusted design consultant. Her journey into fashion began in her grandmother’s sewing room, where she was inspired by the artistry of a skilled milliner and dressmaker. Those early moments sparked her passion for creating beautiful garments and set her on the path to a lifelong career in design.

Jennifer’s creative talents led her to George Brown College, where she refined her technical skills in garment construction and developed her signature attention to detail.

Jennifer brings a perfect mix of expertise and quick wit that makes working with her feel effortless. Clients trust her suggestions and love how she can make the whole process fun, all while delivering precision and creativity in every design.
