Danica Salajko | Founder and Designer

Danica Salajko is the owner, founder, and designer of Bathing Belle Swimwear. Raised in a family business that specialized in custom swimwear, she developed a lifelong passion for design at an early age.

After graduating from the Fashion Design program at George Brown College, Danica worked as a film and television wardrobe stylist and later worked behind the scenes in professional photography. These diverse experiences shaped her entrepreneurial vision, leading her to open her first brick and mortar boutique in Toronto’s Roncesvalles Village in 2018.

At Bathing Belle, every swimsuit is a labor of love. Danica does not just craft swimwear; she crafts confidence. Her ultimate drive is seeing her customers light up when they try on a swimsuit that fits perfectly, helping them feel absolutely incredible exactly as they are.

Jennifer Fennell | Designer and Creative Consultant

Jennifer Fennell is a master of detail and a trusted design consultant. Her journey into fashion began in her grandmother’s sewing room, inspired by the artistry of a skilled milliner and dressmaker. Those early moments sparked a deep passion for beautiful garments and set her on a lifelong career path in design.

Like Danica, Jennifer refined her technical skills in garment construction at George Brown College, where she developed her signature attention to detail.

Jennifer brings a perfect mix of technical expertise and quick wit to the team, making the collaborative process feel effortless. Clients love her fun approach, trust her design instincts, and rely on her to deliver precision and creativity in every single piece.
